"The Ice Intrigue” captures a reunion of a small group of friends at a cabin in Vermont. The film follows a course through a frozen landscape that is both personal and mysterious while exploring themes of love, loss, solitude and relationships revisited. Borrowing a home movie style, small vignettes of the artist’s wife and her friends suggest a poetic nostalgia for the road not taken.
